Music Therapy is for any person seeking therapeutic support. Many of the people I have worked with have additional needs, including anxiety, communication differences, neurodiversity, learning differences, complex trauma and struggles with emotional regulation.
Does a person need musical ability to access Music Therapy?
No. Sessions are not about skill, they are about play and connection. Music is used as a shared language.
Where do sessions take place?
Face to face Music Therapy takes place at a welcoming, specially equipped therapy space in Bradford on Avon.
How long are sessions?
Typically sessions last 30 minutes for children and 1 hour for adults.
Do you work with schools?
Yes, referrals from schools and other professionals are welcome.
Reflective Parenting Sessions
What is reflective parenting support?
Reflective parenting sessions offer a space to think about what your child is communicating through their behaviour and your own responses with greater clarity and understanding.
Is this the same as parenting coaching?
No. These sessions are therapeutic and relational rather than advice-based. The focus is on understanding patterns and strengthening connection.
Do both parents need to attend?
Not necessarily. Sessions can be individual or joint, depending on what feels helpful. Sessions can be online or in person at a therapeutic space in Bradford on Avon.
Female Emergence
What happens in an emergence session?
We work together to explore what is meaningful to you. The avenues of exploration are words, somatic experiencing (what your body is communicating to you), movement, and vocal exploration. We explore in a way that feels accessible, navigating your growth edges together. Sessions are therapeutically informed, so held with deep awareness, reflection and confidentiality. Sessions can happen online or in person in Bradford on Avon.
